Fans Come and Go, So They Got a Team for the Young Actor
Ayden Jeffrey did not just mark his film debut and his 14th birthday this year. He found a team, built by thousands of dedicated fans.

Imin took his seat in a movie theater in East Jakarta, where he lives, to watch the latest installment of a beloved horror franchise, Danur: The Last Chapter. He had followed the story since the first film, released nine years earlier in 2017. He also knew that some of the cast would appear at the end of that particular screening. It was part of Danur's promotional tour, but Imin did not know who would be there. It turned out that Ayden Jeffrey, who plays Hans in the film, was one of them.
Imin is more-or-less familiar with the Indonesian entertainment industry, having worked at an advertising agency, and he thought Jeffrey's face looked familiar. Hans is Jeffrey's debut role in a feature-length project, so Imin could not have recognized him from earlier films. "I realized he's in the actors' agency that my friend is also in," Imin told Twibbonize on Thursday (7/9).
He also noticed how the audience responded to Jeffrey that day. From then on, he started following the young actor's social media. Over time, he became not just a fan but an acquaintance of Jeffrey and his manager, who happens to be Jeffrey's mother. They came to trust Imin to help with Jeffrey's fan meet-ups, and even his upcoming projects.
The birth of Aydenatics
"At the time, there were many names for Ayden fans," Imin recalled of his early impressions of the fandom. Some called themselves Aydenation, one account went by aydennn.holic, and most of these accounts are still around today. It struck Imin as a missed opportunity to unite everyone. So he brought the idea to Jeffrey's manager directly. "I had a discussion with the mother, why not bring all the fans under one name?"
Jeffrey and his mother took the suggestion seriously and ran a poll on Jeffrey's official TikTok and Instagram accounts. The name Aydenatics, derived from "Ayden Jeffrey" and "fanatics," won the majority vote among his fans, whose numbers had by then reached into the thousands. "The fan who suggested Aydenatics got a free ticket to see Danur as a gift," Imin added.

Aydenatics' announcement post on April 2, 2026 – @aydenatics.official
Imin moved fast. Once Aydenatics was chosen as the official name, he created the official account and announced it on April 1, 2026. The TikTok page reached 10,000 followers within its first three days. It now sits at 28.9K, and the Instagram account has 12.2K followers. "His fanbase grew so rapidly, Alhamdulillah," Imin said.
The birthday project
It was June, and Jeffrey's birthday was coming up the next month. Imin racked his brain over how to celebrate the day with thousands of fans scattered across Indonesia. Then a thought came to him. "I was on campus and all of a sudden I thought, right, why not a Twibbon?"
So a plan was laid out. Imin set a modest target of 200 supporters, and he and the other admins brainstormed a design. Then Imin, the fandom's main admin, shared Jeffrey's birthday campaign with the regional admins first, the same way he shared everything else about Jeffrey. He told himself that if 200 people put it on their profiles, the project had done its job.
"At first, I thought 200 people would join at most," he said. "Which is good. That means 200 people appreciated the project we made." He was taken by surprise when the count kept climbing past his target. "Because we assumed, since most of our fanbase are kids, only a few would know how to use it," he said. When the numbers kept going anyway, he ran out of measured language for it. "It was way beyond expectations." By the end of the run, roughly 1,400 people had put Jeffrey's birthday on their faces.
The design almost went a very different way. The first version was Pokémon-themed, because the fans knew Jeffrey loved Pokémon. Then they did something most fan projects never get to do. They asked the actor. "Once it was done we asked Ayden, but he was concerned," Imin explained. "He said it looked childish."
There is something almost funny in that. Jeffrey, who is also active in International Model United Nations (IMUN), wanted to be seen as serious and formal, a rare instinct in a 14-year-old. We were reminded of a conversation with the university students at FTI ITB, who created their Welcoming Party campaign around Bikini Bottom theme from SpongeBob. Those engineering students did not even stop to think about whether it might seem childish.
Jeffrey is at a different point in his life, though. Of course, he did not object to the project. "As long as a fan project means well, he'd always appreciate it," Imin quickly added. "But for this one, he asked for the design to at least represent who he is."
So they remade the Twibbon. "Why not have it in his favorite colors," Imin said. "Black, white, grey, so we just combined them." The final Twibbon credits Arka, the fandom's Jakarta regional admin. After they relayed the approved design to the WhatsApp channel, the team pushed it out through Instagram and TikTok, where fans wore it as their profile picture.
How the fanbase runs the campaign
We have seen fandom campaigns move big numbers before. What is less common is a fandom that has a clear structure to move them. Aydenatics members are not mere social-media followers of Jeffrey. The fandom is built to function like an organization.
Its Jabodetabek region is split into Jakarta, Bogor, and Bekasi admins, with branches in Bali, Sumatra, and Kalimantan as well. Each regional fanbase is a channel down which the Twibbon cascaded, from the main admin to the regional admins and then to the members.
The timing of this first campaign was just as deliberate. Aydenatics published it on June 15, more than three weeks before Jeffrey's July 8 birthday, far earlier than most event-oriented campaigns give themselves. The way they launched it mirrored the way the fandom is built. It started with Imin seeding the campaign among the admins. Then, closer to the date, they posted it on Instagram for everyone to see. That is how even we at Twibbonize first learned Jeffrey had a birthday coming. By the time his birthday arrived, the fandom was ready and the audience was already there.
For Imin, a birthday project like this was also about giving something back. In the months before July, Jeffrey often went live, inviting fans in to talk and to meet up. Imin started thinking about how Aydenatics might return that warmth, how they could thank him. The Twibbon was an answer, a collective gesture of gratitude for a celebrity who, as Imin put it, had been kind to them.
Imin also admitted that one benefit of running this campaign was seeing how far Aydenatics had come in such a short time. "We see that we are quite solid," he said. Or, in his sharper description of what they had built: "This community is like a student council," he said, drawing on his own school-days experience in one, "but in the form of a big community."
From our conversation, we got the impression that Aydenatics was not content to be just a collective of fans. So the fanbase built a team for this young actor whom the members believe has a big future ahead of him. "After seeing Danur, I noticed how Ayden's followers just keep growing," Imin said. "So I thought, oh, he has huge potential."
We did wonder whether this had always been the trajectory Aydenatics had in mind. "It can't just stay stuck at one point," Imin answered. "I took the initiative. And we set up Aydenatics branches, all the way to Bali, Sumatra, Kalimantan."
When the birthday itself came around, the team decided that one birthday Twibbon would not suffice. It was a project, after all, so there had to be more they could do.

Ayden Jeffrey with the children of Nur Karomah orphanage – Aydenatics Official
They agreed to celebrate Jeffrey's birthday at an orphanage. At first they were torn between a charity event for street children and a visit to an orphanage. "We finally decided on the orphanages," Imin said. Plural, because they celebrated at two orphanages in Depok. The first, Karena Doa, a Christian orphanage, chosen in honor of Jeffrey's faith. The second, Nur Karomah, an Islamic orphanage, reflecting the majority of the fanbase.
Through the campaign, Jeffrey's fans discovered how solid they already were. But fans come and go. A team is what Aydenatics decided to build instead.
