What You Can Learn from These Eid al-Adha Twibbonize Campaigns
Seven real campaigns with features you’ll want to apply to yours

A generic "Happy Eid al-Adha" frame competes with thousands of identical ones. A frame that tells the supporter something specific, or features a unique design, makes people more likely to support it.
Here are nine campaigns from 2021 to 2025 that show the range of what is possible, and what you should learn from each one to optimize your design.
1. Sign of belonging for Al-Amien Prenduan students
Campaign: Eid Adha Al-Amien Prenduan Creator type: Islamic boarding school
Campaign type: Celebration + Membership
Al-Amien Prenduan is one of Indonesia's most well-respected pesantren, based in Sumenep, Madura.
Things we learn: In this campaign made by Al-Amien Prenduan, they use Arabic calligraphy for the greetings, beautifully making the space efficient, and not only that, the design also includes the institution’s logo that makes the frame specific for the use of the cohorts, faculty, as well as alumni of the Islamic boarding school. Making the campaign a way to unite the group of people.
2. A sleek greeting from Am Badar & Am Badar
Campaign: Ambadar Eid al-Adha 2023 Creator type: Professional services firm (IP Law) Campaign type: Celebration + Membership
Am Badar & Am Badar is an intellectual property law firm operating in Indonesia. It is common for a corporation to use Twibbonize to promote an event, but it is pretty unique to find one that celebrates a religious holiday.
Things we learn: What draws us to this design is the sleek design that cuts to the chase with a simple Happy Eid al-Adha on a white background, a single detailed illustration, and of course the logo of Am Badar & Am Badar. With the well wishes at the bottom “May the spirit of sacrifice and our sincerity inspire goodness and love in life”, the campaign would work well as a greeting card, too.
3. Showing credibility with Proin Travel
Campaign: Idul Adha Proin Travel Creator type: Travel agency Campaign type: Celebration
A travel company that facilitates Hajj and Umrah running an Eid al-Adha campaign is a no-brainer. The campaign gives their customers a way to celebrate publicly while staying connected to the brand that facilitated their journey.
Things we learn: Proin Travel uses a photo of people on Hajj, cleverly linking what the company does to Eid celebration. The frame also includes a small badge of 25 years being in the business with the company’s social media, showing the credibility of their service.
4. Addressed to your loved ones
Campaign: Eid al-Adha Mubarak from English Squad Creator type: English learning community Campaign type: Celebration + Membership
This is a warm and intimate campaign created by the English class of State Junior High School 2 Kalimanah for their family and friends.
Things we learn: This campaign is by a niche community with a specific audience in mind. It’s a simple reminder that our focus doesn’t always need to be wide-reaching. The unique sizing format also works nicely as a greeting card.
5. Eid campaign that campaigns something
Campaign: Happy Eid al-Adha MISA Creator type: School Campaign type: Celebration
Madrasah is an Islamic boarding school, and here Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sunan Ampel is making an Eid al-Adha Twibbon that speaks beyond the holiday.
Things we learn: What makes this campaign remarkable is how it features a subtle message for those who see it. On the top right corner, there is a badge that says “Ayo Sekolah ke Madrasah, Madrasah Lebih Baik” -- “Choose Madrasah, Madrasah is better”, making the campaign work for anyone outside the school who believes in the message.
6. Keeping it simple
Campaign: Eid ul Adha 2022 Creator type: Community (Dari/Pashto-speaking) Campaign type: Celebration
The Latin transliteration of عيد الأضحى may differ from region to region. This campaign uses Eid-ul-Adha that is more commonly used by the Pakistan community.
Things we learn: Language is identity. If your community uses a specific term for the holiday, use that term in your campaign name and slug. We are also impressed by how Zaheer-ud-Deen Babar Uppal utilizes the space for the design: everything centered at the bottom, so your face can be the focus of the Twibbon.
7. Greetings by the youth
Campaign: Eid al-Adha 2024, Eid Sakarya, Eid Adha AAYG Creator type: Organization Campaign type: Celebration + Membership
Asian African Youth Government (AAYG) and Yemeni Students Association in Sakarya bring us Eid al-Adha greetings from the geographic areas they represent.
Things we learn: These two Eid campaigns speak more of the organization they represent rather than the day of the Eid itself, and sometimes it is necessary to do so. Establishing an online presence for something you are a part of is the spirit of Twibbonize afterall.
TL;DR
Be specific about your audience
Keep it simple, it must be clear that you’re talking about Eid
Don’t focus on one format, other sizes work well too
But the most important is this: if you have thought of an idea, it means you are ready to get it started. These tips can be applied as you create and develop more campaigns.
So, what are you waiting for? Start your campaign on Twibbonize today.
