On July 27, 2026, an account named Cavite Mission published a campaign page titled ONEVOICE27 ALL THINGS NEW. The worldwide launch it was made for was still six weeks away. By mid-September the page held 3,374 supporters. It was neither the first nor the last of its kind. Search the keyword on Twibbonize today and at least thirty separate campaigns come back.

A quick search on "OneVoice27" on Twibbonize as of September 17, 2026

OneVoice27 is a Seventh-day Adventist digital evangelism initiative, unveiled at the Annual Council in October 2025 with more than 180,000 congregations in scope. But the movement launched worldwide on September 5, 2026 and runs to September 2027.

Why 2027? Because the initiative builds toward what the church marks as the 2,000th year since the baptism of Jesus. The public-facing theme is "All Things New: Hope Starts Here."

That makes it a Launch campaign in the plainest sense, with Membership underneath it. In other words, people wear the Twibbon to show their participation in the cause, and that also signals they belong to the church.

Campaigns of OneVoice27 have since been made and gathering their supporters. The largest is titled simply All Things New, published on August 13 by WIUM Media for the West Indonesia Union, at 8,980 supporters. Second, at 4,890, is OneVoice27 | AllThingsNew Hope Starts Here the official frame of the South-Central Luzon Conference. Third, at 3,630, is One Voice 27. Three of the four biggest carry the public theme in their title.

Below the top four, the list gets local fast. There are Palawan Mission, Southern Mindanao, Central Tablas I District, Manado and North Maluku Conference, North Minahasa Bitung, Luwu Tana Toraja and Papua. There are also Universitas Advent Indonesia's media team and Pathfinder Indonesia. Near the bottom, a page with 128 supporters published on September 7 in Madagascar, its whole description in Malagasy: Manasa anao hampiasa ity déco pdp ity, closely translated as "We invite you to use this profile picture decoration."

Notice how several Twibbons show their own identity, naming their local congregations or churches. That follows from how the initiative was designed. Gereja Advent Indonesia Tengah explains in their promotional video that OneVoice27 rests on three things, decentralization, contextualization and integration. No single frame was distributed for millions to use and share. Each community has the space to make something for the people around it.

So they are free to put the message on whatever platforms members already use, and a profile frame is one of those. After the September 5 launch, members are still posting Christ-focused messages on their own social accounts, gathered under the hashtag #OneVoice27. On Facebook, for example, one member posts Bible verses inside a Twibbon format, which promotes the initiative and marks his own participation in it at the same time.

What traveled, essentially, was the ultimate message, not the artwork. Headquarters wrote a press release, set a date and released a theme. It did not send out a profile frame. Thirty-odd mission offices, local churches and one Pathfinder club found their way to Twibbonize anyway, and brought hundreds, in some cases thousands, of people to the initiative through a picture of themselves.

OneVoice27 is a case of a large institution mobilizing its people without instructing them one way to take an action. The message they are meant to spread is recontextualized locally, online and from the pulpit, and the Twibbon frames are one eye-catching method to do it.

That is the shape a global mission can take while the local end is allowed to make things. The center mobilizes, and the edges gather the support and the faces.
